We managed to watch a movie this afternoon in Brentwood. We had no idea what’s showing, we just looked at the theater’s list.
Edmund wanted The Judge starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Robert Duvall but that would mean waiting for three hours. He picked Before I Go to Sleep because it would only be an hour wait and it’s starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.
We bought two tickets, ang mahal pala ng sine dito, almost $30 for the two of us. No popcorn included.
We made use of the one hour wait by walking to DSW store and shopping for shoes. I was able to buy slippers, pang-ulan at pamputik.
Edmund got a Sperry Topsider golf (or baseball) cap.
The movie is suspense all throughout. It keeps one guessing up to the very end who the criminal is. This is not the movie to watch if you want to relax. It made me tense.
The ending made me cry. Nicole Kidman (Christine Lucas) has amnesia because Colin Firth tried to kill her by hitting her head many times. Despite her amnesia, she was able to remember her son who’s now 12 years old.
When we came out, we were surprised by the number of people waiting for movie tickets
