Black Saturday Food trips

I was surprised that most establishments are open on Black Saturday, nung araw kasi halos lahat sarado.

We had trouble deciding on where to go for dinner.

For a simple and informal meal, wearing tsinelas and no make-up, we chose Gino’s in Katipunan.

I don’t remember how many times we’ve been here.

The burrata is what we always come here for.

The salted egg pasta is heavy on the belly and afterwards it makes me suya.
But I still end up ordering this every time we come here. The taste is very subtle kaya I taktak a lot of chili and salt.

Nyke likes their mushroom with pesto mushroom. He puts a lot of spicy honey.

The mother is the plate cleaner. I eat the part of the crust they don’t like.

My son returned my money. He paid. Salamat anak.

Not contented with our pizza and burrata meal, we transferred to Basil in Whiteplains for some Thai dessert.

  1. Ang sweet sweet naman ng mga anak mo. Bang ganda ng babae at bang pogi ng lalaki (puntong Binangonan).. And kahit malalaki na sila, they always wanted to be with you in instances like these, Kasi yung ibang anak, kapag ganyang age na, they wanted to be with their friends or barkada most of the time. Gimmick, gimmick. I really admire your kids.or ang galing nyong mag-asawa in bringing -up your children. Congratulations.

    1. Thank you Cora for your comments.
Medyo matyaga sila sa akin. Yes, they don’t mind hanging out with me.
