I visited the very impressive Blanco Family Museum in Angono, Rizal sometime in March of 2013 and was dazzled by the extensive collection and priceless works done by National Artist Jose Blanco. I admire his children for keeping his heritage alive. The bigger than life collections is a legacy and tribute to the Rizalenos and to the Filipino people as a whole.
Jose Blanco’s family not only inherited their father’s great works but also his God-given natural artistic talent.
The children recently contacted me with regards to my blog post in 2013 and they wished to clarify that Jose Blanco passed away in 2008 and not in 2005 as I had stated.
They also clarified that they never copied their father’s artworks.
