Buffet Birthday Dinner, Heat

September 8, 2015
Parang kailan lang. Birthday na naman ni Benjie? Or is it their wedding anniversary?

Edmund thought we would beg off but I didn’t mind going to the birthday of our kumpare Benjie. Simple lang naman ang party nila, kain lang kami, buffet and kwentuhan. No wearing of fancy clothes, no large imposition on wearing all pink, or formal dress. Anything goes.

I went straight to EDSA Shangrila Hotel from my out of town trip. I would be very late if I would go home to shower and change. I brought a dress and changed in 2 minutes inside my van. I timed it when my driver got off the vehicle to check on something. When he came back, iba na suot ko, magic. I freshened up at the hotel’s toilet.

Edmund and I met at the hotel lobby.

I was so thirsty and the fruit juices looked refreshing.

There were too many choices of food but nothing made me excited. I went back and forth scanning what’s available, wala, siguro I was too tired to eat.

Poor duckies. I should stop eating live animals, kawawa.

I got two pieces of duck roll. Dead na duck, so pwede ng kainin, wag lang alive and screaming quack-quack.

There’s a wide range of desserts. Show me 100 kinds of desserts and I would still go for halo-halo as number one choice. Then mango crepe second. I wanted vanilla ice cream on top of the mango crepe but they ran out.

The youngest jetsetter. The two month old baby apo of Benjie’s
sister Annie, with uncle Shoti. The baby was in Bohol or Palawan last week. Next week he’s vacationing in Japan. Lucky yaya, also goes wherever the baby goes.
Next destination is the US daw. Wouldn’t his eardrums be affected by the jet pressure?
