We didn’t go to church on September 8. It didn’t even cross my mind that it was a holiday of obligation.

I was feeling a lot better. I became over confident that I could handle a whole day schedule. I packed my day with out of town meetings.

1 inspected a prospective parking area for vehicle inventory. I didn’t see the terrain because the lot is full of tall trees and cogon. The caretaker and his brother cleared some portions so I could walk between bushes but I was too scared to enter the dense area, with giant ants crawling on my feet and going up my jeans. There was also a dog that gave birth, it was barking wildly. Di ba matapang at nangangagat pag bagong panganak kasi akala kukunin ang mga tuta (puppies) nya.

I asked my driver to walk deep into the property to take photos, ayun, puro damuhan ang kinuhanan ng picture.

We proceeded to Trece Martirez for my luncheon meeting. Jolo Revilla was there. I didn’t recognize him, only when my acquaintances told me that the vice governor is also dining at the next table. kakahiya naman pakuha ng picture kaya eto na lang picture, the Cavite Republic restaurant lobby.

The resto’s specialty is crispy pata kare-kare.

I went to two more places, then next was a quick inspection of my tiny cottage house. I asked the foreman how long would the 70 sqm structure be finished. Four months pa daw. Nakunsumi ako. Ano? Ang liit-liit four months? One bedroom and one toilet? I told them that by October we should already be installing the flooring and painting the mini-house. Their alibi is it’s always raining.

I was so happy when I saw these two pink gumamela. They are so pretty.

And look at this giant multi-colored flower. It’s beautiful.

I returned the 200 pieces hallow blocks I ordered from a nearby hardware store.

One of the reasons why I had to visit was because my caretaker reported to me that he is temporarily staying at the neighbor’s kubo because the other worker, Danilo, started talking to himself and to his wife (who died a year ago). Danilo has been working at the farm for two months and so far he’s been efficient and dependable. I paid him P400 a day. Dan suspected that someone poisoned his wife and vowed to avenge the death of his wife. Our gardener is terrified with the thought that Dan is losing his mind and he might hack him to death, thinking that he was the one who poisoned Danilo’s wife. My laborer went to the house of Danilo and asked his relatives what’s wrong with him.

  1. Hi Ms Annie.. I am glad ur feeling much better now.. Sorry but i can’t help but notice the fences — seen on the right side of ur gumamela pics — parang naka-lean papunta sa right .. 🙁

I dunno if it’s just the angle of the camera, pero i noticed the tabingi fence on both pics and i am just worried baka magkaproblema pagtagal ng panahon.. I just want u and the family to be safe.. 😉 maybe u can ask the foreman to double check the leaning fence para makasiguro na safe kayo dun sa mini cottage mo 😉

As for the worker na may konting kuliling, it would probably be safe for u and ur workers to lay him off, kc baka makagawa pa sya ng hindi maganda sa kapwa workers nya, lalo na pinagdududahan nya pala un caretaker mo abt his wife’s death..

Better safe than sorry, according to the kasabihan.. 🙂

Take care and be safe always.. God bless u and the family, Ms Annie.. 😉
