I saw Charice‘s big concert ad at the Araneta Coliseum, my impulse was I’ll go watch. I posted the date on a piece of paper and taped it on the wall. When Edmund came back from Xiamen, he scanned our schedules and when he saw the Charice thing, I caught him making a smirk. O o, that’s not good. It means, di nya type. In my defense I told him “Ako lang ang manonood, I am going to look for a kasama”.
AFter a few days, my daughter said she would come with me, Edmund said, he’s willing to come with me too.
I went to Megamall to buy three tickets but for some reason, when it was already my turn at the ticket counter, I walked away. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to. I like Charice, but the ad had 5 photos of young male Filipino singers that I don’t know. Maybe Charice is giving back, trying to help these friends of hers to advance their singing careers. But I don’t want to listen to 5 singers with two songs each (at least) meaning 10 songs of young singers that I am totally not familar with.
Siguro I’ll just watch next time.
I ended up buying popcorn, ham,
This ham is good with pandesal
Medyo mahal lang. sabagay, wala namang ham na mumu.
No more flower frenzy. Ladies, wait for next year. Kaawa-awang mga misis. Punta na lang sa dangwa.
Going back to Charice, her concert is on May 9, next week. Ano kaya, manood ako? When in doubt, don’t.
