My friend and I had lunch at Alpha by Chef Billy King, who, together with Chef Jessie, founded Le Souffle.
Alpha is on the 6th floor of Alphaland, owned by Bobby Ongpin.
The ambience is a bit formal but not stiff. The prices are very reasonable.

Chefs give their dishes and sauces fancy names. I don’t envy the new generation. Kakain lang there are just too many choices. I still prefer the simple choices available to me when I was growing up- suka, toyo, patis. pwede rin kamatis at bagoong, pag middle class- merong ketsup.

I ordered this boneless bangus teriyaki. Masarap din sya pero I still like the tinapang bangus with sawsawan ng kalamansi.
The set menu of P650++ comes with a Belgian Chocolate slice, in simple lingo isang hiwa ng chocolate cake.
