After having foot massages at the nail salon in Ayala Technohub, we went to Choco-late de Batirol restaurant in Igorot Park, Camp John Hay. We’ve seen this rustic place feom the outside but we’ve never tried it except today upon the suggestion of my daughter.
The place looks improved. Before kasi it didn’t look like this. I had an impression years ago that this was an exclusive hang out place for the hotel and golf club’s employees that’s why we never considered coming here.
The place is rustic, cozy, homey.
We came here for lunch.

We finished what we ordered, well, we came here looking for good food and given the circumstances, okay naman yung beef steak and buttered fried chicken. We ordered their famous batirol hot chcolate drink. Hmmmm. I requested for more chocolate flavor kasi medyo matabang sa panlasa ko.
From Batirol we drove around looking for my favorite dessert in Baguio, strawberry taho.
I gave the vendor extra money so he would scoop the strawberries and not just the red syrup.
Not content, I also bought ube taho which was highly recommended by Oyen, nay ko hindi naman lasang ube. Kulay ube lang.
