Summit - Oh My Buhay

I attended the Women’s summit the whole day yesterday. I didn’t want to be late so I woke up at 5 am, left the house before 7, arrived at the Philippine Trade Training Center in Roxas blvd just before 7:30 am. The summit started at 9 and ended at 5:30 pm, I left the venue at 6:30 pm, arrived home at 8 pm (traffic grrrrr). Wrote a report, then left the house again at 8:30 for the village board meeting, came home at 11 pm. I was ssoooooooo tired, hungry and dizzy.

The 2nd Women to Women Mentoring Summit was a big success. More than 200 women came including yours truly. And guess what? Derek Ramsey dropped by and said Hello. I replied “Hello too. Is it me you’re looking for? And I wonder where you are, and I wonder what you do, Are you somewhere feeling lonely…” Oh sorry, I got carried away.

Going back to the summit, yes, it was a success. The speakers were all very good. The attendees were all enthusiastic. Our group, the Women’s Business Council was in full attendance. The  summit was very organized, save a little chaos while Derek Ramsey was there.

I found this printed dress in my closet with the pink touch and a tiny Kate Spade bag that I bought 2 years ago but has never used, I thought they matched the Summit’s color motiff.

Philippine Coffee Board was one the exhibitors that have already set up when I arrived. PCB is headed by Pacita “Chit” Juan, who’s currently the President of the Women’s Business Council.
