I asked Dimple to choose between Filipino food or Japanese, she chose Japanese.
Kimpura was the best choice since we’re already in Greenhills.
We had teppanyaki prawns (2 orders), mixed fried rice, miso soup and lapu-lapu fillet. We also made pahabol one order of scallops which in retrospect was a big mistake. One order consisted of 4 slim pieces for 700 bucks.
I washed my hands in the ladies’ room and when I came back, Dimple said she just saw Christopher de Leon passed-by, or someone who looks like him.
I asked the cook if it was indeed Christopher. he said no, It was Governor Faustino Dy.
There were many security people at the entrance of Kimpura, my first impression was that Pnoy could be there dining with Grace Lee.
Kimpura‘s buko sherbet is tops, when you order, get two scoops because one scoop is so little.
