Dinner @ Deo Gracias Spanish Restaurant

Oyen’s birthday is still tomorrow but tonight we have an advanced dinner celebration at a restaurant she herself picked, Deo Gracias.

It’s our first time here.

The place is in a residential neighborhood deep in Quezon City. We seldom venture out in this area unless we have a specific purpose, like tonight.

Restaurants nowadays need not be located on the main road, thanks to social media or the internet, they can easily be found. People are now more adventurous and are in constant search of something new. Kahit malayo sa kanila, dadayuhin. Aside from the food, it’s the novelty of discovering new places. The online search makes up for lack of physical visibility. Of course, it helps to be easily seen even if people are just passing by.

I don’t know how Oyen found this place. It’s either she stumbled upon it during her Google search or a recommendation from an acquaintance.

So here we are, trying a new restaurant which promises to be good. I know because Oyen has done her research and this place can’t be bad.
Deo Gracias Menu

The sliced baguette with fresh tomato topped with Iberico will definitely be in a my list next time I come here,

Oyen ordered 1/2 Medio size Cochinillo Castellano, Castilian-style roasted suckling pig. A roasted baby pig is very popular but I prefer the traditional Lechon Baboy. I am looking for that Lechon taste with sarsa which Cochinillo doesn’t have.

Thank you anak for bringing us here.
