Dolphin Watching Cruise

It was a 3 hour ride to the South Coast/ Wollonggong hoping to see a dolphin. No big deal because I slept most of the time. I was just careful this time not to bang my head on the bus’ glass window.

My kids were worried about me because the captain said that it’s going to be a choppy ride because of the wind.
I asked him if it’s dangerous, he replied no, not dangerous but bumpy-bumpy. I took a deep breath, then I said “let’s do it”.

Jervis Bay is beautiful, the water is aquamarine blue and very clean.

To avoid seasickness, I armed myself with cookies (to keep me distracted) and the Katinco.

Husband enjoys the cruise, no dolphins in sight yet.

The all went to the deck where the view is better, except me, who feels dizzy up there.
Edmund got stuck also on this level, to be with me.

After about two hours, we did not see any dolphin. I saw two gray fins and what looked like dolphins swimming in tandem but before I could even react, they disappeared. My kids and the others saw several seals swimming near our boat. My daughter was able to take pictures. It’s 12 noon so we gave up our dream of seeing a dolphin.
