Family is Forever Part 2 - Oh My Buhay

Family is Forever Part 2

May 22——-Aileen planned and prepared for everything as early as few months ago.  She and Bong spent  weeks prior searching for the best garapon for the halo-halo.   We numbered about 38 plus 5 relatives and friends.  Although our parents were no longer around including Kuya Ben,  we have increased in number,  with the apos and coming soon  apos.

It was a very successful reunion.  We had trivia games.  Sample questions were what’s the capital of the Philippines,  where did lolo and lola meet,  what’s the Tagalog for “go back to where you came from”, English for “Dyos ko po” , use baboy in a sentence,  etc.   We also had bingo.

The theme was Barrio Fiesta.

These are partial photos.  More to come…..

My parents would be very happy.

No fiesta is complete without lechon. I didn’t know how to angle my camera to make the pig look happy. But who looks happy when you’re dead and ready to be eaten?
