My daughter sent me a photo about a week ago of a green bag from the Fendi store she saw in Sydney. Australia has tax refund, the US doesn’t. On the contrary, a 9 to 10% sales tax is added when you purchase in the US. In Las Vegas the sales tax is a little bit lower at 8.25%. It would be less expensive to buy bags in Australia. Dapat pala binili na nya duon.
Edmund was going to the city to meet with his long-lost Crispa Redmanizers teammate, Willy Paez, so perfect timing. I rode with him to San Francisco and he dropped me off somewhere along Market Street. I went to Barneys but a Filipina sales lady told me they don’t carry the Fendi brand. Kunwari nagtingin-tingin na lang ako ng mga bags nila but my real purpose was to use their restroom.
This YSL bag was so tempting. This was one of those moments when self-control needed activation.
I walked to the Fendi store which was just around the corner from Barneys.
I found the exact same bag Oyen wanted, It’s called By the Way Medium.
It’s cute, light, small, suede, and it’s green. It’s nice but the color’s subdued. Parang madali kang magsasawa. Parang hindi bagay sa young people. I didn’t get this one.
