Jollibee and Ford teamed-up for the Cross-Country challenge. 10 couples (Male-Female/ Male-Male/ or Female -Female), were chosen by Jollibee to drive thru hundreds of Jollibee outlets nationwide and go to selected Ford dealers, also nationwide, to do some tasks.
For 10 days, each team is given P10,000 cash allowance each day to cover for their meals, lodging and gas.
The event’s organizers chose the location of Ford Cainta as one of the places where the contestants would go for the challenge. May 1 was the perfect day they chose to be at Ford Cainta. I braved the heat to catch this challenging “Challenge”. Hindi pala Amazing Race ang tawag.
Ford Cainta is one messy site. It’s still under construction, no roof, no cool and comfortable place to stay, dusty and noisy from the workers’ pukpok. It’s extremely glary and sooooooooooo hot.
The above looks easy to assemble, if you are superman. The blocks are made of cement and are so heavy, siguro 10 pounds each.
And not only that, the blocks are to be carried and transfered from 30 meters away, to the spot where the team is supposed to assemble it.
This two very goodlooking contestants are fashion models and they look like they’re of foreign descent.

Yehey, they were able to do it in 17 minutes. Nawala kagwapuhan at kagandahan nila sa pagod at init.
