Fourth Street in Berkeley California

After having lunch at Iyasare, we explored some of the shops on Fourth Street. I tried to endure walking with these uncomfortable shoes but the reality was, I wanted to take them off and just walk barefooted. They’re nice to look at pero nakakasira ng araw. Ang sakit. Salvatore Ferragamo should give me a pair of comfortable shoes as a way of thanking me for enduring the pain. I had bought at least a dozen pairs in the past and most of them squeezed my nerves. Yeah, they were admittedly all pretty pero masakit sa paa.

Berkeley California
We only discovered this part of Berkeley California when we had dinner with Dennis and Sylvia. They were the ones who picked the venue and I was glad about their choice. It was instant love and just like what I had said before, I would bring Nyke and Oyen here on Fourth Street.

This area has many furniture stores and designer showrooms. It’s really pretty. Too bad I don’t have a house to furnish and we have no more space at home. Even if I see some beautiful pieces, I have nowhere to put them. Plus the styles here are mostly modern, or mid-century modern.

I spoke with the owner of Design Within Reach and he told me they were having a grand sale. Sayang, I really liked the green chair but it would not blend with my decor, or maybe it would. I forgot how much he said this was I think $1,000 less big discount. I am not sure.
