Geneva, continuation of holiday

I am continuing my post on our advanced honeymoon and holiday in Europe. Extremely behind but still necessary for my own recollection years from now.

October 31, 2013
On our last day in Geneva, we had breakfast in Starbucks and walked around the hotel for an hour. Fronting the lake was the Four Seasons Hotel. We went in the lobby and admired the intricate architectural details. I started taking photos and got carried away. As if naman I would build a hotel.

When I went out, the doorman asked with sarcasm if I worked there. Kasi naman kuha ng kuha ng pictures.

Next time I go back to Geneva I would stay here para pag tinanong nya ako if I worked there, I would answer “I live here”. I think the rooms are $600-800 a night. Too much no? Wag na lang.

As we walked past Four Season’s outdoor cafe, we saw this pretty olives tree.

It was time for us to leave Geneva. We discovered that our hotel’s walking distance to the train station. We just dragged our maletas 3 or 4 short blocks away.

In front of Starbucks, near the train station’s entrance

I was wondering why there were some kids wearing masks and some with face paints. Oo nga pala, it’s Halloween.

i got a little confused looking for our reserved seats because the numbers jumped.

Eto pala

I made sure my bag was secured while on the train.

For some reason, there was no complementary food service unlike in UK/Scotland.
Edmund bought some snacks from their bar restaurant a few sections away.

After less than 3 hours, we’re back in France.

Making usi lang.

After a dozen years, we’re back…

Taxi monsieur!

15 minutes short ride, we’re here!
