La Residence in Marseille

Two months behind but I still want to complete my diary. I want to remember where I was and have been. Especially that it’s about one of my favorite cities, Marseille.

It was love at first sight the first time around. Ten years later, it was still love I felt the minute our taxi came right up the bend. I am simply mesmerized by Marseille’s Quai du Port or Vieux Port
Less than three hours by TGV from Geneva and three hours to Paris, this French city is very accessible.

The temperature is always warmer than Paris, which makes this place more conducive to walking, shopping, just staring at people.

On our way to the hotel, Edmund was a little anxious because it would be our first time to stay in this hotel, Residence du Port. He suggested that we stay again at the Tonic Hotel but I wanted a better view of the water and of the Notre Dame. I found this hotel on line.

Cute entrance

Nice patio facing the Quai

The decor of Residence Vieux Port modern.

We’re on the penthouse kuno, Room 702. that’s the top floor, mababa lang yung hotel.

The view from our room and balcony is fantastic.

I could spend the whole day gazing at the view.

Twofie

This is paradise to me.
