We went to Greenbelt 5 last Sunday afternoon. The driver parked far away and Edmund said it would take some time before our vehicle arrives.
E—–“Tart, matatagalan pa yun. Mainit, gusto mong pumasok muna dyan sa Paul Smith or Escada?
A—–“Ayoko, baka makabili pa ako”.
Medyo ang tagal nga nung driver. While waiting, my eyes caught the flashy green bags inside Escada. I took photos from the glass window.
Wala pa yung driver. Ang tagal. Sige na nga pasok na’ko sa Escada.
I don’t have a single Escada bag but I do have a pair of aqua blue Escada pants and several polo shirts, and t-shirts.
Wow, they have an on-going sale till end of August. Less 50% less 10%. If you buy two items, instead of an additional 10%, you get 20% off. That’s a good deal. This bag’s SRP is P62,000 minus 50% = P31,000 less 10% = P27,900.
If you buy another item, this bag becomes P24,800 or US$ 481.55. Not bad ano?

A—–“Oh, wait lang, wait”.
E—–“Nadyan na kasi……”.
A—–“Oh wait”.
Sales lady —-“Mam, last piece na yan in green”.
A—–“Miss pwedeng paki reserve? One day?”
Sales lady—–“Two days mam”.
A—–“Okay, here’s my name and number. May I have your name and telephone number here?”
While in the van going home…
A—–“I reserved the green bag, the small one”.
Oyen—“It’s cute”.
A—–“They have a sale, less 50 less 10 if you buy two less 20 more”
Oyen—Okay.
A—–“Anak, I am thinking, matanda na ako, how many bags na lang will I be able to buy. Ten? Assuming I buy one bag a month x 12 x 10 years, you will inherit 120 bags”.
Oyen—-LOL “that’s a lot of bags”.
(Note: I don’t buy one bag a month. I am not a bags person. Between a bag and a plate, I’ll go for the plate.)
I totally forgot about this Escada bag. I was busy the whole day yesterday and today. I will be busy again tomorrow. Maybe someone else had bought it already because it’s been two days.
That’s good para wala akong gastos.
But what if the green bag is still there at the store? Ano kaya? Malayo pa Christmas. Stress ako lagi, maybe I need some retail therapy. But I am travelling soon and will be away for more than a month. The bag will just sleep in the cabinet. Hmmm, I’ll think about it. Think think think.
