I am usually picky about hotels. Resting and sleeping inside the hotel room is a good part of my vacation so I want to be comfortable. I am particular about having a big window or balcony, natural light, cool ventilation, and peace and quiet. Hotel Feldmeier delivers all that. The beds are so tiny parang kay Theo lang but coming from a 36-hour travel, kahit anong kama makakatulog kami ni Edmund. Kahit papag, basta malamig and tahimik.

Hotel Feldmeier is typical of family-run hotels in the Bavarian Alps. It’s very clean, orderly, and quaint. Ayan na naman si quaint.

It’s the local tour partner of Trends Travel who arranged for our stay here.

I failed to take a photo of our bedroom on the 3rd floor #10 because as soon as we entered, nagulo na agad yung kwarto. The toilet has a nice skylight where I could see the sky and tsll branches of trees. It’s modern.

One thing missing in the room is a coffee maker or percolator.
We’re only staying here for two nights so we’ll manage.

We didn’t go out na on our first night here. We just got settled, then dinner at the hotel’s sunroom.

We have a cute terrace with an enchanting view of Kofel but it’s rainy and cold outside kaya hindi naman kami makapag-istambay.
Charming wooden chalet nestled in the mountains with green lawns and a scenic backdrop.
There’s an elf on the staircase lighting our steps.
A whimsical sculpture of a person holding a red phone in a niche.
After dropping our suitcases off , we went down to the dining area for our dinner.

Sunroom– this is where we are assigned to dine for the duration of our stay.  We cannot just seat anywhere.
Cozy glass-enclosed dining area with round table and green chairs overlooking a garden.

A large dark bottle of wine in a decorative holder on a wooden surface.

A rustic ceramic condiment set with spoons on a wooden tray.
I forgot something in the room so I climbed 3 flights again.   I think I have clocked in some 11,000 steps for today kaya feeling gulay na ako.
Cozy attic space with wooden dresser and wardrobe under stairs.
Tomato soup.  I scraped the top and left the soup untouched.    I felt more tired than hungry.
Creamy soup with herbs served in a white cup.
Edmund chose fish.  One whole fish without the head.  Normally, mauubos nya ito because he loves fishy-fishy.   I shared one-fourth.
Grilled fish fillet with garlic, boiled potatoes, and lemon wedge.
This pork was mine.  I was giving Edmund one slice but ayaw nya.  I ate maybe one-fourth and scraped the gravy.   The two potatoes didn’t entice me.
Roast beef with rich brown gravy and crispy potato croquettes.
I ate the cream sauce and some gilid-gilid of this strudel.
A powdered sugar-topped dessert served on custard sauce.

Good night. My back is dying to hit the mattress. ZZzzzzzz.
