This morning Edmund was complaining about our new cook Joyce. He said she asked if he wanted sunny side up. He said yes. Then he saw her boiling the egg. Edmund heard me giving instructions to Joyce in Inglesh.
Edmund — ” at bakit ka ba inglis ng inglis? bakit mo ba sya kinakausap ng inglis?”
Me———- e kasi sabi “I only spek Inglesh”, hindi nga daw marunong mag Tagalog.
Edmund— She’s only using that as an excuse, to camouflage her cooking deficiency.
Me —- Graduate daw kasi sya ng Bachelor of Arts major in Inglesh.
My breakfast this morning? Fly lice with……….. sliced hotdogs! Yumyum.
