It’s Hard to Say Goodbye to Theo

Edmund and I are leaving tonight for a two-week journey to Europe and we are finding it hard to leave because of our apo. Ganun pala pag merong apo. It’s hard to say goodbye to Theo.

He has started to make sounds. At one-month-old, he could say “hooo”, sounding like an owl. This past week, at two and a half months old, he has learned to vocalize more sounds, He now sounds like a cat.

His development is faster than we expect. In two weeks’ time, when we come back, he could be making halakhak na. But he could forget our voices and faces in two weeks. it’s fine, we’ll reintroduce ourselves like what I always do every day. Hi Theo, this is lolo and lola.

Lolo, Oyen, Theo

We are having some separation anxiety.
