I was supposed to join DTI Secretary and Mrs. Greg Domingo this afternoon at the opening of CITEM’s Philippine International Furniture Fair at the SMX, but begged off because Julienne is sick. I also skipped work and Edmund also canceled some of his meetings.
We brought Julienne to Cardinal Santos Hospital for a series of tests- blood tests, ultrsounds, and xray. I paid a little extra to rush the results and Dr. Palafox was able to get advance readings of the results.
The hospital’s lobby and offices look like art galleries. They are selling the paintings to raise funds for the indigents needing medical care. I liked this one the minute I saw it at the Laboratory waiting area. It’s done in oil by artist Angelito Florendo. It had a positive effect on me, Parang I felt happy just looking at it. I liked the color combinations, hindi sya baduy. One can bring it home for P85,000 twenty percent of which would go to charity.
I’ve been telling Julienne since yesterday that she didn’t have fever kasi parang malamig naman paghinipo. When they were little, I had so many digital thermometers, but now the only one we have at home is the old fashioned isusubo sa bibig. It turned out that she had fever. So para sure, I bought a new one and more accurate digital thermometer from Mercury Drug.
39.1 pala ang fever nya.
We have a regular contribution to the riches of Mr. Mariano Que, the founder of Mercury Drug.
Julienne is home and is still running a fever. Dr. Palafox gave her biogesic and tamiflu. Her lab tests and ultrasound results showed some minor concerns that need follow ups and monitoring.
