November 4, 2016 Friday

I had a 10:30 meeting with Frank and David at David’s office in W. Sunset Rd. and my sister tagged along. I liked the vibe in the area. There are a few nice office buildings and a short drive away are clusters of restaurants and shops.

Dave’s driving. He went back to his office to get some documents.

Our meeting ended at noon. I asked Dave if we could buy him lunch and he obliged. Minsan kasi ang mga Americano nahihiya, kasi sanay sila na KKB. Hindi sila sanay na inili-libre. Unlike tayo “hoy, blow-out naman”. “Uy, pakainin mo naman kami”.
He’s been driving for us for the past 2 days and the least I could do was to buy him lunch.

I asked him to choose the restaurant because we’re not from here. He brought us to a Japanese restaurant popular among office employees and executives around the area.
