Oyen informed us that every person in our household has flu including her and Derrick. Except for one driver who took a leave of absence because his wife had given birth, one driver and five maids are sick. The driver went home to their province while the 5 maids isolated by occupying the driver’s quarters and the billiard room.
Their antigen and RT PCR tests came out all negative. Our main worry was Oyen because she’s 9 months pregnant. She couldn’t take antibiotic or any medication that could affect the baby in her tummy.
Oyen advised us not to come home yet and to stay for a couple more days in Singapore to avoid getting infected. We didn’t want to move our flights so we just booked a room at EDSA Shangrila Hotel. Oyen is due anytime and we want to be near her when she goes into labor.
We’re not extending our stay hence today’s our last day in Singapore, and our last buffet breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant.
After two days of eating the same things, today I cut back. Medyo sawa na ako. I feasted instead on the sweet and refreshing longkow.
We only have one carry on luggage each and didn’t,plan on shopping. But it looks like we need extra luggage space. He bought some shirts, hayan, hindi na kasya.
Checked out and left our two lugagges with the concierge so we could still go out for coffee.
