Dozens of seafood restaurants line the shore overlooking the magnificent blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
We didn’t pick where to eat. The guide brought us to Mourayio Cafe – Restaurant.
Our lunch had already been pre-arranged for our big group. Food had been pre-ordered so we didn’t have much choice, unless we ordered extra from the menu.
Edmund wanted a whole grilled fish and I was hoping to have grilled sandwich. We were watching what the other diners were eating.
What arrived was one huge squid served with a few pieces of shrimps on a bandehado. We at first thought ome bandehado was for sharing, but the plates arrived one by one, and one for each person. Frankly speaking, seeing a big squid on my plate was kind of overwhelming. Grilled calamari is a popular dish in Greece maybe that’s why it was recommended by the tour operator.
Fish Roe Salad
The squid was good except that after a while sumakit ang panga namin sa ka ngunguya.
