We went to Macy’s in Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek last sunday. I wasn’t aware that Macy’s was having a one day sale. I was surprised with the amount of discount that I got when I bought a cardigan. The tag price was $88. I paid $8.80 plus 8.5% sales tax = $9.55. I also bought a pair of pants by Tommy Hilfiger for $27 with $79 original price.
Their very nice shopping area is around Main St. and Mt. Diablo Blvd.
It was a perfect day to walk around. Sunny but temperature was pleasant at around 22 degrees.

I saw a nice set of antique style flatwares in Pottery Barn but they didn’t have a complete set for 4 persons. According to the store manager I have to place an order which would take 7 to 10 days. So far I haven’t.
