It’s Julienne’s birthday today. I totally forgot that I already have a gift for her that I bought last December in Baguio. It’s been wrapped and has been in my drawer ever since. When I was leaving for work this morning, I kept on forgetting something, first was my notebook, second was a gift to a friend, then I had to go back the third time because I forgot something. Julienne followed me to my bathroom then all of a sudden, I saw the gift in my drawer.
It’s a cheap gift but I knew she would like it. She did!

I received a text from Chef See this afternoon asking me (and my classmates) to come on Saturday at 10 in the morning instead of 1 pm. He would like us to attend the free demo and wine tasting from 10 am to 12 noon. This is to give us a better understanding of how to make Paella the ADF way. And what the heck is ADF way?
I declined and told Enderun that I am going to be extremely tired if I would attend the two hour demo and wine tasting, then would have to attend the Paella session up to 5:30 pm. My God, thinking about standing up again for 4 1/2 hours makes me tired and feeling kulata already. I don’t care if I wouldn’t know which wine goes with what dish and what kind of wine to pair with my paella. I don’t drink wine anyway because I am allergic to alcohol. I’ll just pair my delicious Paella with buko juice or gulaman at sago with panutsa. Pareho na rin yun.
My daughter invited us and a few of her friends for dinner tonight at Marriot Cafe. Photos tomorrow.
