McDo on a Saturday night - Oh My Buhay

McDo on a Saturday night

We were all late to the anticipated mass at 6:30 pm. The four of us came from different places and we just converged at the church, except for Edmund and I, because he caught me still at home attending to the two maids who were dying to leave us, actually our dogs. It was their 11th day and goodbye na agad. I gave their salaries, checked their belongings, etc.

We’ve been having a wave of misfits the past two months and so far I have paid some P50,000 fees to the employment agencies.
Not even counting the maids’ salaries and utilities. One girl came for a day, took two nice showers, ate her meals, watched tv and left. Until now the employment agency has refused to refund to me the P5,200 I paid to them.

Edmund and I arrived at the chapel when it was already Offertory. My son knew I was stressed out, upon seeing me, he gave me a hug and said “calm down mom, calm down”. I just closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on my prayers. I couldn’t even pray. I was so stressed out. After a while my body started to relax.

We wanted to go to Lugang Cafe after the mass but the wait was too long and traffic along Connecticut was buhol-buhol because of the number of vehicles trying to go to Lugang Cafe. We went to Kimpura instead. We’ve just been here two weeks ago.

It’s an egg custard steamed in a tea cup.  Sometimes there are tiny slices of shrimps or mushrooms, pork or chicken at the bottom.

  1. Hi miss annie. Mama also paid thousands and thousands of pesos to agencies. Problema talaga mga tao. sa business namin saka sa bahay, naloloka ako sa tao. One of them nakipag suntukan sa isa pa naming boy tapos pumunta ng barangay. Yung barangay pumunta samin not for the other guy but for my Papa.
