Cash amounting sometimes up to ₱245 million stuffed in corrugated milk boxes is reportedly delivered regularly to the DPWH office, I am not sure if it’s in Bulacan. Sometimes the cash is allegedly split into tranches of ₱145 million each. This is according to the woman contractor bringing the cash. The brazenness of this operation is beyond belief.
Nakakalula ang dami ng cash.
TRACE THE CASH
Where did ₱245M originate from? Saang banko ito ini-withdraw? Kaninong account?
INVESTIGATE THE BANKS.
I thought P500,000 is the limit on cash withdrawals as per the Anti-Money Laundering Law? Does this law apply only to ordinary people like us?
No questions asked. Bilyon pa!
I consider those banks as complicit. They enabled this corruption by allowing massive cash withdrawals without question.
If banks were truly enforcing their own rules, this kind of large-scale graft and corruption wouldn’t be so rampant. Their failure to question or report these suspicious transactions makes them enablers — if not outright accomplices.
I am sure by this time, those involved are busy cleaning their act and backyards.
Buong bansa ang raket na ito, kaya it’s impossible to investigate, prove, and prosecute all.
The negotiations will transfer to a different branch of government. Walang makukulong dyan.
Ano parusa? Example: P250 million project, 250 palo.
Even those who complete the projects are as guilty because the projects are overpriced to include the SOPs, for the boys, pocket moneys, and whatever you call it. I do not believe that the contractors earn a little. How did they become billionaires in just a few years of doing contracts with the government?
I don’t even know how to describe the hundreds of contractors — both known and yet to be identified — who are in blatant cahoots with politicians and government officials. The sheer scale of collusion is staggering.
Contractors create numerous companies to make a mockery of the bidding system requirement. Grabe kayo.
They stole billions or trillions from us ordinary Filipino citizens.
I’ve heard directly from two female contractors that they knew nothing about construction but their relative politician encouraged them na “manguntrata”. Patuturuan daw siya. Ano ang ituturo?
Today, I met someone who works in a government office. When the engineer comes with a big black bag, alam na daw nilang mga empleyado kung anong laman nun. They call daw the guy, bagman.
Every year, the government finds new ways to punish us — the hard-working, law-abiding citizens — by increasing taxes.
We earn money through legal and honest means. We count every peso, save coins in jars, and keep ₱1,000 tucked away in our wallets just in case of an emergency.
And then we find out that many government officials, contractors, and politicians are stuffing billions into their pockets — illegally, openly, shamelessly.
