The sky is still bright till 9:30 pm so last night at 7:30, I drove to the nearby Lowes.
I always have a problem with the toilet seat in our powder room in Manila. Laging nasisira. I bought a soft one from SM Mall of Asia and when I opened the plastic, it had pink stains from some weird discoloration. My gasoline would be more expensive driving back to Mall of Asia just to return or exchange it. We just used it although it’s not nice, it has stains and more stains. I have been wanting to replace it with something that’s easier to clean and does not stain.
There are too many choices at Lowes, which one kaya? I spent some 30 minutes checking on each and every toilet seat here.
The plastic ones are cheaper from $19.99 to $24.99 but I don’t like plastic kasi parang cheap ang dating. I prefer the ones made of wood, para dignified. Even if you are making ooh-ooh, dapat you do it with dignity and elegance. A wooden toilet seat gives you that air of sophistication and affluence.
I opted for this one although the price is $34.99 plus 8.25% sales tax.
It’s made in USA which is rare nowadays, when practically everything in the US is made in China.
Made of wood, just what I am looking for!
And the best part of all, it has Whisper-Close technology.
And we thought whisper is only for sanitary napkins. Whisper-close means that when you close the lid, it would prevent the lid from slamming, it would close slowly. Because wood is generally heavy, the lid has the natural tendency to slam down.
With its slow motion closing of lid called Whisper-Close, it eliminates the danger of
making ipit or cutting the birdies. Di ba there are guys who kneel down, not when they are praying, but when they are peeing, kasi to prevent their pee from splattering, eh paano kung yung toilet seat slams down right on the birdie, Dyos ko po, huwag namang mangyari. Kaya safe na tayo dito sa Whisper-close para slow-motion, iwas ipit ang birdie.
