This would be the fourth time if I remember it right that we are spending New Year’s Eve in Baguio. The first three were with my kids. Now it’s just the two of us, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Oyen and Derrick (and family) are back in Manila. Actually, she asked if we wanted her and Derrick to stay behind so we could be together, or we all go back to Manila to spend New Year’s Eve there. Oyen is already married and much as we wanted her to stay behind, the circumstances have changed and we didn’t want to impose. We also thought they were spending the New Year here kaya we booked our room until Jan 2, 2021. Edmund said the two of us would just stay here till the second of January.
The countdown begins
I wish Oyen and Nyke are here too. This is the second time that Edmund and I are spending the New Year without them. We were in Las Vegas, they were in New York. There was one time when Oyen and I spent it in Manhattan when she was still in college.
