1. We drove a Ford Everest the other day because my vehicle was coding. I hit my head 6 times. Kada baba at sakay ko nauuntog ako. Hindi ko kalkulado yung height kasi nasanay ako mataas ang headroom ng van.

2. Family favorite, kutsinta with niyog
Every market day, our cook buys kutsinta from Farmers Market. Must be eaten within 24 hours or else the niyog gets panis. It’s not advisable to refrigerate the kutsinta because it hardens and the texture changes. Hindi na sya kutsinta. While Oyen was eating, she saw a bug stuck on the top layer. It was still alive.

4. I might attend the Oplan Tokhang briefing. The free dinner appeals to me the most.

Oplan Tokhang circular

Grrrrr!!!

5. Our after dinner dessert, oranges and ube ice cream for me, mango ice cream for Edmund.

6. EDSA is not the only place that is inundated with vehicles. Even side streets have been turned into virtual parking lots. One hour from Pasong Tamo to Pioneer Street, one hour to Home Depot in Julia Vargas via Valle Verde, half hour from the corner of Julia Vargas and Meralco Avenue to the corner of Ortigas Avenue and EDSA. Two and a half hours of my life had been wasted sitting in the traffic.

7. I’ve been craving for steaming hot sotanghon soup but I didn’t know where to buy. Since I was going to Home Depot, I decided to go to North Park and take out noodles. They didn’t have sotanghon of course, I just took out crispy fried noodles.

It had sliced button mushrooms, cream dory fish and pork. The taste was average. Not great, not bad either.

8. Steel frames, brackets of all sorts must not be allowed overhanging on the roads because they pose danger to passing motorists. They could fall or even if a tiny nut, bolt, or a small part or section of the steel comes off could greatly endanger the public’s safety.

All kinds of advertisements, whether electronic billboards, tarpaulin, banners, or whatever, must and should not be allowed in the middle of the roads. They are a distraction to drivers and dangerous to life and property. .

mommy and Nyke's coin banks

  1. Hi An. Other villages call it the “Modified Oplan Tokhang” to differentiate it from the original “Oplan Tokhang” which targeted pushers and addicts (known drug suspects). The Modified Oplan Tokhang is considered as an information campaign/drive to disseminate information regarding the government’s war against drugs. Regards.

    1. Hi Alvin,
There were hesitations from a lot of homeowners to let the policemen and camera men enter the village and do house to house campaign. The distrust and fear have grown.
