Passport photos - Oh My Buhay

My green passport expires in December 2011 but I decided to renew it na.  Some are saying it would be easier to pass thru the US immigration if one has the brown one with computerized features or something.

The process was a breeze.  I was at the Department of Foreign Affairs  before 8 while the crowd was still thin.

Before,  I sumitted my  own photos.   Now,  there were dozens of cameras there and they took my photo right there and then.

Problem,  I did not like their camera.  I did not like the shots.  I did not like the angle and lighting.    I kept on asking for a re-shoot.   I really did not like how my face looked like in those shots.    After more than 10 minutes,  he said,  “mam,  pumili na kayo”,  pero wala talaga akong mapili,  inis na ko sa kanya.  People were already looking at us and the next in line was already impatient.    So I told the guy,  “Sige na nga yan na lang,  Can you do retouch? Do you have photoshop?     “Mam,  bawal ho yan dito”.

My new passport was delivered to me just before the Holy Week.   Ang agang penitensya.

I  have absolutely no intention of showing  my new passport to anyone.

Not even to the airport immigration officer/s.
