Richmonde Hotel has very slow wi-fi

We’re back in Iloilo for my husband’s first ever class reunion.

Husband chose Richmonde Hotel Iloilo because it’s one lot away from the shopping mall. He is thinking that while he’s out meeting with his classmates, at least I have something to do. I could just walk to the mall to entertain myself.

I don’t mind waiting in the hotel room for several hours as long as there’s a high speed internet so I could update my online diary. I am way too behind with my posts. Not even a month behind. I have travels and events that happened a year ago, months ago and I no longer remember where I was, what I did, what I wore. If I don’t post it then I would definitely forget about it.
The few hours that I am free to post become useless if the internet is slow. Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay is one hotel with a very slow internet connection. The one hotel with an exceptionally high speed wi-fi connection is Casa Luntian in Tagaytay.

And now we are in Richmond Iloilo and to upload one photo on Flickr takes several minutes. Last night I could not even upload one single photo.
I have called their front desk many times, they sent a guy, then two guys, but they could not offer any solution. They just kept on saying that their internet was “okay naman”. Define okay. Pwede lang pang Facebook, pang email, posting without any photo or video clip. We haven’t even been here for 20 hours and they’ve already asked me to reset it 6 times. They’ve changed the password and username three times. It’s just a waste of my time.

Okay na daw. Puro okay na daw. That’s all they could say. Pero for blogging with photos and video clips, hindi pwede. I am in a very bad mood because of this and my husband is also stressed out because of me. He said we will go to Marriot in a while to check out their wi-fi connection, maybe theirs is better. We were planning to stay at the Marriot but last minute my husband chose Richmond because it’s closer to the mall.
