Philippine superstar singer composer actor, Ogie Alcasid, was the guest performer at the Million Milers Night at the Marriott Hotel in Burlingame last June 5, 2025.
He mentioned that he was super jet lagged having just arrived from Manila the night before. Me too. My circadian rhythm is off. Not until Theo’s body clock goes back to normal will my body feels in sync again with the moon and the sun.
I must have seen him perform before but this was the first time that I paid attention, and he made the audience laugh. I thought he was naturally funny and down to earth. He was a delight to watch. He entertained all of us. Na aliw ako at na relax.
I think he flew in to entertain us and to play golf. My husband tells me Ogie Alcasid is a golf addict so I surmise that he is a single handicapper. Ogie said he will soon achieve Million Miler status. So next time it would be his wife Regine Velasquez who would be singing, and he would be at the dinner table watching.
I enjoyed his singing and light comedic hosting. I thought he was funny. His full name pala is Herminio Jose Lualhati “Ogie” Alcasid Jr.
I bought my 4 peacocks and peafowls, 4 Bengala chickens, and one exotic rooster with very long tail from his first cousin, Joel.
I didn’t get tired at the event, in fact, I felt relaxed and surprisingly, hindi ako inantok even if I had no sleep the night before. Gising na gising ako.
