I was sitting in the car this afternoon at around 3:30m pm eagerly waiting for the traffic to move faster. I kept glancing at my watch and checking my phone for messages and missed calls. I tried calling some people too.
I was anxious, super stressed, and restless. In fact, nag sermon ako sa office ng ilang beses. May pahabol pa. Tinawagan ko pa sa cellphone as soon as I got on the car.
It began to rain, a little. Then I suddenly looked up and saw the giant digital billboard of one of SM Group’s condominium building blanketing a portion of EDSA. The blue light probably caught my eye so I looked up.
It read:
THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU,
YOU NEED ONLY TO BE STILL.
Exodus 14:14
It was something that hit me. That was what I just needed at that moment. A reminder that God is always here protecting and helping me. Not every battle is mine to fight. God is here. I need to trust and relax.
