The tour guide saved the best for last. After a long drive thru the English countryside, passing by white gold sheeps and well-manicured prairies, hills and valleys, we reached the finale of our day tour, Stonehenge, the pre-historic ring of natural stones located in Wiltshire, believed to be at least 5,000 years old.

We were dropped off at an open greenery, then we boarded a shuttle to bring us closer to the Stonehenge location. Tickets were included in what we paid for our package tour.

The stones were smaller than in my imagination. I thought they would be humongous. At 13 feet, they were tall enough but not as soaring and imposing as I had thought.

My husband and I both don’t have a bucket list when it comes to what country or place to visit. But for people making such lists, visiting Stonehenge is one good place you can add.

I only found out that this place was in Bong’s bucket list. I didn’t know. They never mentioned to me. I just invited them a few months ago to come with us to this tour. Oh well, good things happen and this is certainly one of them. Dreams became a reality to my brother in law. I could just imagine the big fat CHECK on his bucket list. Stonehenge, checkekek!!!!
