Henry Cavill, the new Superman, is so good-looking. With due respect to Amy Adams, he’s prettier. His blue eyes’ piercing stare could snap panties and bras.

Man of Steel is star-packed, with no less than Russel Crowe playing as Superman’s father, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, as his adoptive parents on earth.

Laurence Fishburne was there too. We’ve seen him in person while Julienne and I were at a boutique on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, maybe 5 years ago.
Instead of having fine dining on Father’s Day, we chose to have a relaxing night watching a movie in Eastwood. But the Man of Steel was tiring to watch according to Edmund. There were so many fighting scenes and since the characters all have super powers, one wonders how they would be able to kill each other. Tapos biglang pinilipit lang ang leeg, natigok na rin pala like an ordinary human.
Every time I watch Superman, I feel the same way as I did when I was a little girl. It’s a big relief believing that Superman would be there in a flash to rescue me from disasters.
I still recall on two occasions when I was in trouble, I must be around 10 years old. I called Superman to help me. Of course he didn’t show up to rescue me.
I helped and rescued myself.
