A huge piece of sourdough was delivered to our house, Food or any merchandise delivery like Lalamove, Lazada, etc are not allowed to go inside the village gate. Our maids go back and forth to the gate several times a day picking up package deliveries. This one from Connie was dropped off right at our residence because she also lives in the same subdivision. Connie is kind and sweet and never fails to send me a Christmas gift. Madalas two dozens of eggs.
Oyen got excited because she and Nyke like sourdough, I don’t.
Oyen— “Oooo, I like sourdough”
Me—- “hindi ako mahilig dito. Maasim, matigas.”
Me—–“Mahirap kainin, ang tigas. Baka masira ang pustiso ko, baka mabali”
E——“Bakit, wala ka namang pustiso ah. May pustiso ka ba?”
Me—–“Wala”
E—— “Wala naman pala, eh bakit…..” (LOL)
