The Second Amendment / Ban those guns

The Second Amendment to the US Constitution was passed by the US Congress on September 25, 1789 and ratified on December 15, 1791. It protects the rights of the individuals to keep and bear arms. But much has changed in the past 226 years. The security risks are now very different.

American politicians should stop citing the Second Amendment as a way to escape regulating the sale and possession of firearms. Regulating the sale, possession, use, doesn’t infringe on the rights of its citizens under the Second Amendment. Politicians blindly choose to take the risk of more carnage of innocent people rather than introducing new laws to protect their citizens and foreign tourists. They know that this massacre will happen again and again and again unless they do something drastic. Ban those guns. You cannot use mental illness as the only excuse to prevent this kind of rampant killings. Are you going to give psychological test to each and every person here in America? There’s no way to predict and identify the next American or visitor who would lose his mind. Do not provide them with the tools to kill. Republicans and Democrats, stop the carnage. Act now! Where is your conscience?

And to NBC, Fox News, CNN, for goodness sake can you please stop airing and promoting those bump stock devices? You are not helping your country by repeatedly televising how to use those killer gadgets , where to buy them, and how effective they are. There is such a thing as responsible reporting. You are actually advertising them. By this time, so many copy cats are already planning on how to achieve the same mass killing. You broadcasters and reporters also have an obligation to guard the safety of your countrymen by being more circumspect in what you show and report on television. Be more responsible!
