A townmate, Thony Luluquisin, came home from Toronto, Canada after many years and visited his friends and relatives. Thony has generously contributed and supported many of our group’s projects and events and has wholeheartedly helped many from Binangonan, Rizal.
They planned a big party tomorrow but because I couldn’t attend due to a full schedule, I just went out of my way to see him the night before. Instead of hosting dinner at home, I just brought them to Eastwood Mall tonight, (April 13) for dinner.
Thony Luluquisin with friends Malou and Fe Castillo (Eastwood Mall)
I brought them to Choi Palace because they preferred Chinese food.
Fe is recovering from a sickness and she’s not allowed to eat seafoods, so I ordered Soy Chicken for her.
Thony ordered a bowl of authentic Sharksfin soup because according to him it would soon be banned in Canada. P2,000/ bowl ++
Fried King Crabs with salt and chili pepper
Fried Prawns with lots and lots of garlic (P150++/ piece)
We ordered Almond with Lychee but Choi Palace ran out so we settled for mango sago na maasim.
Big handbags are good for hiding the bloated stomach
Dessert at home, Delicious moist chocolate cake from Gateau de Manille, and Cheese Ice Cream, parang hindi yata terno.
Edmund didn’t join us for dinner. He also didn’t want to have his picture taken kasi daw madaya ako, ako nakabihis, sya daw hindi.
Malou won an XOXO purse from Annecy Boutique/ Julienne’s on-line True or False contest. The computer picked the winner thru electronic raffle. According to Malou, swerte talaga sya sa raffle.
Edmund brought home a 2012 Ford Explorer because it would be picked up from our house the next morning by his friend who has bought it. Ganda no? sino? si Malou or yung Explorer? Of course pareho!
thanks for the dinner and we really enjoyed that evening, eventhough were all tired that night for our busy sched for the whole week and s office.. 🙂
