On our last day in HK, it was only Edmund that had breakfast. The 3 of us just slept-in. We had lunch at where else? Food Republic. We bumped into Edmund’s golf buddy, Chino Raymundo, who was eating with his children.
Our flight home was at 9:45 pm. We left Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel at 6:30 pm. We spent the extra hours eating in the airport.
Across the street from the airport express’ pick-up point
A group of middle-aged Chinese women dancing or exercising inside the Terminal I.
We first had Chinese food, then we saw Popeye and ended up eating again.
Our first introduction to Popeye chicken was when we visited the US many years ago. There’s a Popeye outlet along Hesperian Blvd, in San Lorenzo, CA about 10 minutes drive from where my parents lived at that time.
There were so many acquiantances and famous people going home that evening to Manila. Edmund saw his friends Mat and Honor with their families. My son met several of his friends too. Senator Jinggoy Estrada was also in the same flight with his wife and children.
