Saturday nights are our family nights.
From my parusang cooking class, I rushed home to catch the 6 pm mass. Edmund just entered the garage when I reached home. He was ahead of me by three minutes.
E—- Oh, how’s your cooking class?
A—- I am so tired, I really am so tired. It’s hard. It’s so hard.
The kids are not yet home so I told Edmund we’ll just take the 6:30 mass. And I need a few minues to lay-down, my battery was not low, it’s dead, tsunnnggg as in ZERO. WAH!
I was dead tired when I hit my bed. I wanted to cry. Dyos mio, I have never expected to get this tired while attending this culinary adventure ko. The excitement has been replaced with dread.
Naku po, tatlong beses pa ako pupunta dun.
None of my classmates showed signs of fatigue. Siguro ako lang ang napagod kasi mga bata pa sila, they’re half my age. Ma-energy pa sila. I may be too old for this. They should’ve put an age limit.
6:30 pm I forced myself to get up. I washed-up a bit but did not change my clothes anymore. We’re late for the 6:30 mass. It was sermon when we arrived. The priest was Fr. Peter.
We usually stand outside but this time I told Edmund I need to sit because I am so very very tired.
Fr. Peter is very articulate and we enjoy listening to him. Sa pagod ko, I couldn’t even listen to his sermon, wala talaga akong energy. Sayang, I wasn’t able to record his singing.
We went to Podium after the mass. I wanted to buy a silicon mat and a mixer at Living Well on the 3rd floor. I have bought ingredients for the Hazelnut Dacquise but I can’t bake it without the mixer and the silicon mat. The mat is out of stock (P1,250), the mixer is there (P24,500). I am too tired to open my bag to get my credit card to pay for the mixer. Buti na lang…. (Hello Annie, this is Suze Orman speaking to you).
Me—– Nice yung colored- blue or green?
E—— Yang white of course.
Me—– Miss, bakit mas mura yang white P20,500, anong meron yang Artisan (P24,500) bakit mas mahal?
She couldn’t tell.
Me—- Ang bigat
Edmund expected that I would buy it. Ang bigat, magdi- dinner pa kami. Wala nga akong energy.
Edmund— Oh, ayan na?
Me—– It’s heavy, I’m tired, I’ll just come back.
YUng manok bago pakuluan kailangan itali ang mga legs at pakpak. I looked for the tali, its P925 for one roll.
Me—- Miss, pwede ba yan per yard?
Miss— Hindi mam, isang box lang.
We went to Terry’s at Podium’s basement. It’s across Belo’s clinic. Meron silang paskel sa pinto, This branch of Belo’s clinic is closing their doors this month. Baka magsale sila ng buy one take one ang lyposuction. Meron ba dyang magpapa lypo suction sama na lang ako para libre? Ako ang take one.
I was really too tired to eat. I just ordered The Elegant Oyster Soup na merong dalwang pirasong oyster.
Edmund said ever since I came home from tbe cooking class, I have said the word TIRED at least one hundred times.
Me—- but I am really tired.
Edmund— one hundred one times.
Please remind me next time, I won’t order this again.
My son likes lamb. This is his second dish, I forgot what he ate first.
I was seated right beside this musician. His music didn’t help perk me up at mukha rin syang tired.
Before going home, we bought two bottles of California Calming Cream for my son’s skin. Until now, he still has rashes all over his face. I feel so frustrated and helpless. Julienne uses this too. P950 per small bottle. This is half the price in the US. siguro I’ll order na lang from the US.
