I was half-hour late to my appointment in Greenhills last Wednesday afternoon (February 4). It was supposed to be at 3:30 but I arrived at 4 pm. It was my fault. I was planning to leave the office at 2:30 but I got tied up and only got to leave the office at 3:15 pm.

Our meeting was on the second floor of Toastbox. It was my first time there so medyo hinanap ko pa.
I was starving when I arrived kasi I haven’t had lunch. I bought two pieces of freshly baked sausage roll. They were eating already when I arrived. Kabisado nila yung lugar kasi according to Monica she always bring her kids there.

Long time friends Daphne Ching and Monica met at the Victory Christian Fellowship. They are Born Again Christians.
Daphne Ching and Monica

We spent about 15 minutes discussing the very reason why I met with them. The rest of the time, one hour and 45 minutes, were conversations about Jesus, the Bible, family, migrating to the US and Canada, and the Ford Everest which Monica has and is very happy with.

Monica said her husband became more appreciative of her after they became born again Christians. He’s more patient and kind to her.

They are inviting me to join their Bible studies. Daphne said Jesus is calling me. She said what’s lacking in my life is full acceptance that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
