Although Cainta is only a few kilometers away from Metro Manila, it’s still very much like a probinsya. Dito masarap yung puto at kutsinta, if you can still find the original source.

A real estate broker showed me this morning a property for lease in Cainta, Rizal. It’s along the main road, A. Bonifacio Street, near residential areas with some commercial establishments.

They were safe daw from Ondoy and Habagat, getting only a few inches of water up to their ankles, according to the owner.

The broker said there are two more available properties a little father away. I instructed the driver to follow their vehicle since we didn’t know the short cut.

Me———-“Convoy tayo dyan sa brown Honda. Sundan mo sila”.
After 5 minutes.
Me———- “Ano’ng sinusundan mo? Bakit yang Toyota ang tinututukan mo? Hayun sila, brown na Honda”.
After 5 minutes,
Me———- “Wag kang mag-overtake, sundan mo sila”.

AFter two minutes,
Me———– “Saan ka ba pupunta, hayan ang sinusundan natin bakit hinahabol mo yung truck?”

The properties the broker showed me are both in good locations and no baha daw but the prices are stiff.

I went to Ford Cainta afterwards.
I caught one guard sitting in the vehicle releasing section and totally absorbed tinkering with his celphone. He didn’t even notice me entering the facility. I called him twice before he looked. “Guard! guard! Saan ang pwesto mo? Di ba duon?
Dun ka”.

I noticed naman some two feet x 8 inches in diameter mud stains on the floor beside the Ford Ranger display.
Tawag naman sa janitor.

The sales group based in Ford Cainta are efficient and hard-working.

I picked-up the ulam sent to Cainta by my sister in law from Binangonan. Buti na lang we have a small freezer there. She cooked this ginataang hipon. Mapanisin pa mandin yan. She also sent several green mangoes and alamang that’s not salty.

As soon as I got home, kain agad. Ang sarap.
