Ultrasound

I realized one of the things that has been agitating me the past few days or weeks is the fear of having br—st cancer. I have it checked once or twice a year, but I always hear or read that even with a regular check-up, sometimes, it couldn’t be detected.

Subjecting myself to a cancer test is like giving birth all over again. I had to get that baby out of my tummy but I was terrified with the thought that something could happen to me, but I had no choice but to give birth.

I paid first, waited for 1 1/2 hours. I knew there would be a long wait so I came prepared with my Ipad and Plants and Zombies.

The 4 women waiting were all pregnant. This girl initially thought I was pregnant too.
Girl- Kailan ang huling mens?
Me— Miss, ultrasound, I pointed at my size 44D endowments.
Girl— ah
I am just glad that their reception counter was high enough to cover my stomach kung hindi she would really conclude that I was there to check my baby’s gender.

When you see hospital beds, get out of the way, baka ikaw ang maisakay, especially if you’re thin, pale and uubo-ubo.
 

For some reason, I felt self-pity while waiting at the ante-room with this tiny tv

Technician — Miss magbihis ka na ng gown (then she left me)

Parang hindi ko gusto ang hitsura nung cabinet nila. I wanted to open to check what’s inside pero baka akala nanakawin ko yung mga gowns eh mabilanggo pa ako.

Medyo I was really feeling awa, bago kaya ito? Meron na kayang nagsuot nito na sumalangit na nawa? Naku…

Results would be known on monday. I am so nerbyos.
