From the wine tasting, we rode the bus and after what seemed like a half-hour ride, we started a walking tour under the heat of the sun. I was in a bad mood. I had to ask the guide where we were going. With that kind of heat, I didn’t just want to walk without knowing where he was bringing us. I asked him where we were going and he asked why I was asking. I had to ask. I was bathing in UV rays!!! He didn’t mind the sun in fact he said it was not too hot. He is Caucasian and they do love the sun. I am not cauca, only asian, and I don’t love being under the sun.

I have the habit of saying “I want to live here” whenever we travel to places that appeal to me. Santorini, as well as Mykonos, have magnificent water views but they don’t elicit that kind of reaction from me. I like trees and flowers and they don’t have it here. All cement, stones, and rocks.
