Black-out at Home - Oh My Buhay

When I arrived home last night at exactly 6pm, our house was in total darkness.  The sky was still a little bright but it was very dark inside our home.   The house staff said the lights went on and off then OFF.  I panicked because our neighbors have lights.  Oh oh,  baka I forgot to pay our bill,  pinutulan kami ng Meralco.  At 6:14 pm I was frantically calling the office,  I was so happy the accounting staff were still there.

The bill is due on September 15,  which is today,  And it had been paid on September 13.  So hindi kami naputulan.  Meralco service crew is on their way according to my staff.   So it could be a problem in our internal wiring, there could be short circuit, etc, etc.

I called up Edmund who was in the driving range.   He left the house at 5:20 pm according to the maids.

Edmund— “Ha?  walang kuryente?  I checked the brakers and they were all fine, Sige uuwi na’ko”.

He’s home in 15 minutes.  The Meralco guys came in 30 minutes.  Ang bilis,  I was pleased.
