While Oyen and I were walking near Anton & Michel Restaurant, I noticed a stack of plates displayed at the window of an antique store. The store was closed for the day so I just took a photo of their contact number which was posted on the glass door.

Before we checked out of Adobe Inn, I gave the store a call to find out how much it would cost me to buy those gorgeous-looking French Limoges plates. He said $1,600 plus 9% sales tax. Oh no! Oh yes! My heart was broken. I knew it would not be cheap but I was guessing it would probably be around $300. It didn’t cross my mind that it would be one thousand six hundred US dollars. Ouch! Masakit-sakit pag nabasag. Pass.
